A New Team
On May 1st, I launched as a full-time Church Relationship Facilitator (CRF) of Wycliffe Bible Translators. There are several milestones to praise God for! It is surreal to see how many times my Wycliffe ministry budget fluctuated in 30 days before I launched. God is sovereign and faithful through it all.

My Church Relations team, working from different parts of the U.S., surprised me with sweet letters celebrating my first day. I have been adjusting to new platforms, communicating with church ministry leaders, and regularly meeting with my supervisors and coworkers.
Please PRAY for our upcoming Global Impact Gathering, a pastoral luncheon in Southern California, where church ministry leaders can discuss the evolving global missions landscape and how it is affecting local churches. I am inviting local churches, including Deaf churches that I’m connected with, to this event.
I will also be traveling to Georgia following the Independence Day holiday to attend a pastoral leadership conference and learn from Wycliffe’s Advancement team on strategizing engagement with churches. Please PRAY for safe travels, a teachable heart for greater equipping, and a fruitful conference.
Joshua and I are engaged!
Of course, I cannot post this newsletter without announcing the special news. Joshua proposed to me on May 6th at the Huntington Library Art Museum. We are very blessed by the number of family and friends celebrating our engagement and preparing us for our future marriage.
I want to personally thank you for walking with me in my Wycliffe partnership development journey, as I’ll be starting a new journey in marriage with my beloved. We are getting married on October 31st, 2026, celebrating our fifth anniversary of when he first asked me out on a date.
Please be PRAYING for us as we are in the middle of wedding planning and pre-marital counseling to prepare us for a lifetime covenant. It’s amazing to see that the Lord has launched me as a Church Relationship Facilitator, loving the Church as His Bride, and I get to be a bride with the love of my life.
Trip to East Asia Home
This past month, I traveled back East to visit family and friends, build my partnership team, and work remotely to prepare for our Global Impact Gathering. I’m very thankful for the growth of partnerships that have equipped me for the work of Bible translation as a Church Relationship Facilitator.
I had the privilege of sharing at my home church about the ministry of sharing God’s Word with the global Bibleless Deaf. This sparked several interests in Bible translation and Deaf outreach ministry. I even had the privilege of learning some of the native Sign Language to communicate with a few Deaf workers in the city.
Outside of work, I enjoyed celebrating a bridal shower and introducing Joshua to all my favorite parts of my hometown for his first visit. It was memorable to see the city through his fresh pair of eyes.

Prayer Requests
For strategic engagement with pastors, and also prayerfully Deaf ministry leaders, at our Global Impact Gatherings on June 24th and 25th.
To grow a teachable heart and endurance when traveling to another pastoral gathering in Georgia from July 9-11th.
A deeper love for the Church as Christ’s body and a responsibility for going and making disciples of all nations.
